Lately..

Lately I've been bored, so here are some things that have been keeping me occupied....

A 6 hour day trip to Circus Circus that obviously included a lot of Spongebob love...

Waiting for the free circus acts to start and cruising the adventuredome with some ice cream...

Pretending to put quarters in the ride, but then really just shaking it with my mom adrenline induced strength...they couldn't tell the difference...

Forcing them to go on a roller coaster that they didn't want to, then laughing hysterically at them crying and freaking out, while others watch me in horror...

Here's a close up...more for my enjoyment than yours....

Taking a detour to the Bellagio only because Remi begged...and I felt slightly guilty about the roller coaster...

Corr attempting to go for a swim and making the Bellagio re-think allowing kids into the garden...

Realizing why other moms won't let their children play with Corr....

On a random note...

Just think, one day he could be saving you or your loved ones' life......in style....

Finally, here is Remi wishing you a very HAPPY and EXCITING Thanksgiving...

AFB & Rouge Tooth

This past weekend we got to go to the Nellis Airforce Base for a free air show! Thanks to Matt's indisputable bad luck (he got called into the hospital and then right as he got there his patient went down for a CT) we left a little later then planned. We ended up being there for the perfect amount of time and were able to see tons of fun stuff.

We had to wait in a line that went to Budha and back, go through security, and then bus over to the base. It was FUN.

The first and largest plane we saw. They were selling highly offensive shirts inside referring to "size". Megan, you were SO close to getting one. That's what she said.

Corr was in absolute heaven....

Proof.

Remi being shipped off.

In the Coast Guard helicopter. I told the dude he should watch Corr in there, and he told there was nothing in there that Corr could break. He doesn't know Corr very well.

Corr during the Heritage flight...seriously almost had Matt and I in tears.
Can you tell I'm loving this Picasa collage creator?

Someone does not want to go to church!

Corr's rouge tooth coming in the side gap. He will just have 2 of the same tooth until he's about five. Then they will decided which permanent one to yank and which one to keep. Until then, he is a mutant.

Remi and I were watching Heroes, and Remi says," Mom, do you think he is sexy because he is naughty? I replied, "Yes, yes I do."

BC

Question: Why is it 80 + degrees in November?
Question: Why do I get nauseous when I stay up past 11?
Answers: No clue.

Now that I got that off my chest, I feel like there is nothing exciting to write about. So here are some pictures instead.

The reason why I'm on BC.

Corr with a knife, thinking: I KILL YOU PLAY DOUGH!

All the other moms gave me dirty looks when I let him climb down all by himself...

Last time we were here Remi made all the kids line up to buy cakes. She seriously had a line going out the door and down the steps. There weren't that many kids this time, so she got stuck with Corr, whom she said is a "bad customer".

If this were reality, it would be a beautiful thing.

He chose vanilla wafer ice cream and gummy bears.

She chose oreo cookies and cream.

This is Halloween!

Halloween was extra fun this year because we had Grandma Hanky Poo Poo here to celebrate it with us. She calls herself a "spook" because her birthday is on Halloween, I call her "Hank the Tank" because she just keeps on living(she's 86!)! Someone at church actually asked if she was my mom! Here is some fun stuff we did...

Here is Remi as a Bumble Bee before her preschool party. Matt hated the wings (he thought they could have been better), but I wasn't about to go buy some!

Here is the bee in her natural habitat.

Friday night we took Hank the Tank to the Springs Preserve Haunted Harvest. Here is Brobee and the Bee getting ready to go in!

Hank the Tank and the Bee taking a well needed rest!

Brobee and Dad with an award winning couple.

Brobee was so excited to see his pal Spongebob on stage...

The Bee however, was not...

Hank the Tank wanted to do some shopping on her b-day, so the girls headed out!

Remi and her Bad-ittude....

This is the only Trunck or Treat picture that I got, and of course they are sitting on their bums eating Hank the Tank's b-day dinner....

Protecting their loot...

The sexy version of "steal my candy and I'll kill you"

All in all we had a great time with Hank the Tank! We are so happy to have her!

Camping...

or rather spending a freezing cold night in a tent by a lake.

Matt got a few days off (he hasn't taken his month off yet and needed a well deserved break) so we, or rather he, decided that we needed to go camping at Lake Mead. Last week we drove down to check out Kingman Wash and the lake was super warm. The kids were white trashin' it swimming butt naked and everything! So Matt got it in his head that we should spend a few days and camp and swim (in October by the way).

Matt is also well known for his incredibly bad luck. Seriously, it is bad. And I'm really lucky, but I think his luck is so bad that it is rubbing off on my good luck, so now I have nothing, good or bad. So of course, I get everything packed and ready to go so that we can leave right after he comes home from the hospital. It is pretty cloudy and windy, but I refused to not do anything after packing everything (you have to pack just as much for one night as you do ten!), so we drive down and set up camp! We actually had a good time hiking around and Matt came up with a genius plan to ventilate the wind through the tent and block some wind with the truck (we were the only geniuses smart enough to be there so we could do what we want). Here is the good part:

Looking at how fun the lake would have been to swim in....I'm pretty sure Corr sped up the erosion process 52% by how many rocks he threw into the lake, and rolled down hills....

I am seriously such a good truck packer....

After Corr chucked a fist full of rock dirt into the tent, I told them to go away...they did...

Dorritos and dirt were a bad choice...

Once again....bad choice...

The wind was having a psychotic breakdown and couldn't decided which way to blow(or whether or not to stop), so no matter where you tried to stand 2 seconds later you got a face full of smoke.

I do have to say it was nice to get away and have some fun. Even if it was negative a billion degrees and uber windy. Oh yeah, and we had a lone coyote come visit our camp. I hate coyotes, and Remi was all excited and telling me they were nice. So I told her that coyotes eat all of Bahma T's cats, but she still insisted that she loves coyotes....ugh...I hate coyotes...

Corr recovering ( Holy Potatoes! This is what warmth feels like!)...

Oh yeah, and this is what happens when you tell Corr to make a "grumpy face", or when you tell him to do something that he doesn't want to do...

October

So far October has been pretty good to us. Matt is doing Internal Med at the hospital, and even though he has to be there at 5:30 am, he gets to be home by 1. This being said, we haven't really done much but laze around with our windows open.

My handsome brother Shadd came to visit for the weekend. He's single ladies.

I haven't decided if its a good thing or not that Corr wants to be like the person he was named after.....he might get bit by a bat and break lots of bones doing stupid things like "falling" out of the back of my truck.......

Corr and Hubert enjoying a nice morning at Bootleg.

Remi enjoying (?) a nice morning at Bootleg.
Hi Uncle Shadd!

Later we headed to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins.

Remi decided it would be a good idea to have plumber butt all day long...

I'm considering buying her some suspenders....

Corr met his kindred spirit, "Mohawk Chicken".

Enjoying a swing ride.

2007...This is weird because Remi was the exact age that Corr is now. Matt thinks they look identical...I don't!
